Grandma Whitezell's Funeral

Ok, so I don't have any pictures of the actual funeral, which did turn out very nice. It was nice for the Whitezell side to all be together since that doesn't happen all that often. I do however have some pictures of the fam hanging out at my parents' house. It's not very often that we are able to all be there at the same time, Christie and I always seem to be on opposite schedules for going home to visit. It was so fun to be all together!

Here is my brother Marc and his little girl Chloe. She is a little heart throb! She seriously looks like a little doll. She definately knows what she does and does not like. I am currently trying to make my way to her good side...it's only a matter of time now!!

Here is me and Tanner, Marc's little boy. He is kissing me on the cheek here and we are playing with some nerf guns we got to send to my other brother who is on his mission in Russia for Christmas. Tanner thought we needed to try them out to make sure they work...they do! He was loving taking and posing for pictures. He is such a little ham. He has an answer for everything and an opinion on everything else! He is so funny, he thinks his dad is "so cool" and tells him all the time, he also told Troy he thought he was cool too. He must have been tired ;) Just kidding!! He made sure to tell everyone at the funeral that "Great Great Grandma isn't sleeping, she's dead, she died". He told me one night that he couldn't give me a hug goodbye cause it would make Heavenly Father sad. He is such a funny kid, I love hanging out with him. Also there is one last thing that I didn't get a picture of, the timing was just not right. My dad makes the BEST ribs ever, and we all ask for them when we come visit. He decided that he would make them for us all. These ribs take a very long time to prepare and cook. So he goes out to check on them and they are cooking very slow, so he decides to give them another ten minutes. Well when he goes out to check them again and slather on some bar b que sauce, they are completely engulfed in flames!! Troy saw him open the bar b que and pull one of the flaming racks out. In the end, the bones had burnt into charcoal. No one has an answer for what happened. We tried to salvage what we could which was only about 1 rack (there were like four...I think) We ended up ordering a big steak from our favorite steakhouse in Bakersfield, Tahoe Joe's, and we still served what we could of the ribs. All in all, it's pretty funny-to everyone but my dad. He laughed about it the next day, but that night, we didn't talk about it!! It was better that way :) All his hard work and time down the drain! It was certainly a fun trip, even though it was for a sad reason that we were all together. I will say this, the drive there is not nearly as tolerable pregnant as it was before I was like this!! I can't wait til March!!!!! Oh, and when I asked Tanner if he could see my baby in my belly he just looked at me and said, "my mom has TWO babies in her belly". That's right, they're having twins!! We are all so excited for them!!!

Happy Halloween!!!

This picture was taken at a party we went to the other night. We are Danny and Sandy from Grease, for those of you that are a little confused. Of course we are dressed as what must happen after the movie when they get married and start having kids!!

We went by to see how our neices Makinley and Gentry were dressed. They were a little too excited and wouldn't stand still for any real good pictures, this is what I got!! Makinley is an elephant and Gentry is a giraffe!! They sure do look cute!

Also...This last Friday was my work Fall Party!! It was fun!! The Dr's I work for love competition, so don't worry that for the party they had made up brackets for a basketball and ping pong tournament!! They thought I should play, I decided that may not be the best idea, since I'm not very sporty to begin with, and now that I'm prego it certainly doesn't help things!! Needless to say I got out of the basketball, but not the ping pong, which with my coordination didn't last long.

3. I LOVE Costa Vida!! Even more now that I am pregnant!! I can't get enough of the mango salsa! (that's weird just because most pregnant people I know don't like it while they're pregnant!)

4. I'm a huge Harry Potter fan, in the summer, my friend and I had a Harry Potter movie marathon the day before the latest movie came out, then went to the first show the next day!!

5. Troy kissed me on our first date, so of course I thought we wouldn't get married!! Now look at us!!

6. I cry everytime someone gets kicked off the Biggest Loser (this started before I was pregnant, so you can just imagine what it's like now!!)

IT'S A BOY!!!

We found out today that we are going to have a BOY!!! We are SO excited!! Especially since we only had a boy name picked out! So...Colby it is!! We think he kinda looks like Troy :)

There's been a lot going on. I had my "Golden Birthday" (which is where you turn the age of the date of your birthday), it was a good one, we had our first appointment letting us know all was well with the baby! We finally found a place to live and moved in last week, after looking for a whole month! I got a job at a dental office who only needs me for a few months, which works out perfectly since I don't want to work after the baby comes. Troy decided to manage for Apex next year, so we will be leaving another summer, kinda sad, but it is for the best!! Troy got a truck, which he has wanted since the beginning of time. I thought he could have one since he worked so hard over the summer. Jake and Shana got sealed yesterday. It was a beautiful day too!! And...I finally updated my blog!!

We're Leaving...On a Jet Plane

Yay!!! We leave today! We are so excited to get back to Utah! Although California will always be my favorite, I am still happy to be going back to the fresh air of good 'ol Utah!!! I know some people love Florida, I just don't think it is the state for me. Maybe to visit, but not to live! It could be that the summer is the "rainy season" (it rains at least once everyday), or it could be that I got pregnant half way through, and was sick for the rest of the time. Morning sickness kinda puts a damper on things! With all the humidity along with the heat it makes it feel about ten degrees hotter than it really is. I am so grateful for my husband who went out and knocked doors in it everyday! I know I couldn't have done it.

So hopefully when we get back we will have an apartment, I talked to a lady the other day about living in her basement. She is a very nice, very chatty lady. She wants to meet us before she makes any final decisions about letting us move in! I told Troy that I would do the talking, and he could just smile and we should have it in the bag!! :) Then it's back to the old grind. I guess since we found an apartment in our old ward, this means I get to go back to being the Primary President. It was nice to have the summer off, for the most part. I still helped out where I could. So all you Utahan's, we will see you very soon!! And all you Californian's we will see you soon too, we are planning a trip out there as soon as we get settled back in to everything!

So the summer has come to an end!! Troy decided that his last day of work would be yesterday. So now we can spend our final days in Florida together :) Well almost, we will mostly be packing everything we brought into the trunk of our car (which is being shipped back to good 'ol Utah Friday morning) hopefully we can make it fit!! We leave Saturday! It should be interesting without a car for a few days here. There are only like two people that aren't shipping their cars, lucky for us one of those two are our best buds here-so we have priority!! We went to the beach today and took a few pictures to finish out the trip. Hope you enjoy them. The waves are a little bigger than usual, and the water is a lot murkier than usual, because of Dean. But if this is all we see of a hurricane, I'm ok with that!

Morning Sickness anyone??

Troy has been dying for me to update the blog, but I keep telling him that I have nothing to blog about because I've just been sick for the last two months! Well he thought that was something to blog about! So here you go!

Who knew that even if your mom didn't get sick, that meant nothing about the way you would be! I thought I was in the clear. Until I actually got pregnant, that is!! It is so weird to never feel all the way normal! But I know it is a blessing, and I will forget all about it when our little "bundle of joy" is finally here!!
